"Draw some salt and pepper shakers." I decided to have some fun with resists on this one, and could only find a purple crayon! On yupo. I will try some more of those.

The real life shakers are very tarnished silverplate!

More May!

Every day in May, again! Graphite and watercolor pencils. I was using a very soft pencil and trying to smudge it and make it charcoal-y, but I should have just used charcoal!

Challenge # 102-- "Draw an electrical outlet plug." I kind of cheated and drew the transformer. But it is a soon-to-be-departing friend--- my new iPad should be shipping in a day or two!

In August, 2005, I bought this little lavender soap in the gift shop on the French side of the Channel Tunnel. I recently found it on a closet shelf and took it out to use...still smelling so wonderful and fresh. Graphite, watercolor pencil, and a couple of ink accents.
