great job for a first time! Funny...I just dabbled in sock monkeys for the first time last post...why the switch from painting to sewing, I'm not sure, but it was fun! Yours is super cute...20 years in the waiting:)

Great first attempt. You got so many nice textures, colors, and shadows. I particularly like the mossy roof.
I really like the barn. You have used some very unusual colors to good effect.
