Some new paintings for you

I've returned to an avenue of exploration that looks to create texture through many layers. I had some fun with this! I feel as if I am uncovering some new alien life forms, or prehistoric fossils.

As always I am grateful for your visits and comments.

Nice! What are you using as the substrate?

Hi Jenna, I use a variety of cradled panels. Often I use encaustic bord panels. But recently I have turned to plain birch panels. I particularly like the Blick Artist panels, because the cradles on the back are nice and wide and easy to frame.
